Not even worth the paper it could be printed on.
No progress whatsoever, reference to the next IPCC failures, maybe a new Durban Action Plan. But see for yourself:

If you are bored to listen to stagnation and verbal excuses why don’t you start planning the trip for the next COP?
Quatar is a bad choice. Having one of the largest producers of fossil fuels in the world as a host for a conference to combat climate change…it just doesn’t work.
Expect the official announcement around 2 pm today.
While enjoying the beautiful scenery at last years COP 16 in Cancun (the venue has actually been build on former coral reefs, how nice) I has given a beautiful hardcopy of some strange community saying something about how to save the world by spurning industrial produced meat. Nothing for me, I swear!
I don’t know what makes them feel to go even further and build a whole side event around being vegan and being god’s . . . → Read More: A new market mechanism introduced on COP 17! Free invites available via rumoursandfacts.com

Hi, does anyone know any names of the six/seven guys from Deutsche Bank who are prosecuted for their role in the carbon VAT fraud? One was mentioned during the trial, last name starts with H, first name is Dominik or Dominic, another one .

Some information from the most recent Q&A’s on harmonised allocation rules in the EU ETS. DG Climate promised to publish them today but I am somewhat certain its easier to find here than on the DG Climate website
We do think that it is due to view on the transactions, as described in the post below, and that is a technical difficulty!
According to a fellow rumoursandfacts author the CITL will display all types of transactions just be changing some numbers…
Ok, lets give it a try, check out this transaction (sorry for being to explizit to anyone mentioned in this example, it was the first one I have found so I kept tracking it. It is only to show the feature/bug with the CITL, if there is any..)

…the performance of PV plants in Germany today: http://www.sma.de/en/news-information/pv-electricity-produced-in-germany.html
I kind of like the graphics, 13,5 GW produced power now by the largest solar market in Europe.
I am not so sure of the quality of what Mark C. Lewis, DB Research is saying here. Recession, massive international political confrontation, everything ‘down to fear’…! Alright Mark and Isabelle, isn´t that a bit too thick? The EU ETS is certainly a quite early economic indicator, but are we now on the dawn of a new recession?
In my humble opinion Chris P. Beacon brought the issue in his last post about proper surveillance . . . → Read More: A Crisis of Confidence or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb
The EU’s stewardship of The Carbon Market beggars belief, it could well go down in history as one of the best examples of incompetence in action since 1832 when an army private decided to check gunpowder stores at night using a burning torch to help him see. We had great examples this week of how Politicians understand the impact their actions can have on markets and act accordingly, the FOMC released a very carefully scripted . . . → Read More: Wanted: Somebody competent to oversee The Carbon Market, EU need not apply.

EUA price forecast June 2011
The first networking evening receptions slowly start at Carbon Expo in Barcelona, and I have already heard the first rumour.
Some say that STX Services managed to do well in their carbon brokering business in the past because they ‘refunded’ certain individuals via a share structure. These individuals seem to have done deals with STX despite lower market prices and shared the upside via interest from the shares. And the poor customers paid the bill…
