EEX’s move in the (Russian) ERU market – A dead born child

EEX has shown multiple times in the past that they are moving on something different then a high pace. Now, realizing that the Joint Implementation World is close to dead by the end of the Kyoto committment period EEX brings up a new ERU contract. Bulgaria’s eligibility reinstated

During a call with an UN chap of mine I was told that Bulgaria’s eligibility has been reinstated to participate in the Kyoto Protocol’s flexible mechanisms. The enforcement branch of the compliance committee has met yesterday and today in Bonn to decide about that case.

The offical announcement will follow next week.

Global Carbon Market Value in 2010 goes down 12 % while value goes up 1%

says at least Point Carbon today, and we know that Point Carbon is somewhat always right. And if they are wrong, they can blame it all on Endre Tvinnereim, he seemed to be the one pulling together all the deals that have been done so far in 2010. Good Job!

And the winner in 2010 for me is Joint Implementation, up 33% and an impressive 0,008 % of market share in volume!
