EUA price development & UK auction results

Hi there, the EUA Future 2010 price rose over the last weeks significantly and this week reached the June price level. And now? There is a quite stable trend channel, but the channel now crosses the resistance line at 15,87 euros. Some of the important technical indicators are sending a “sell”-signal. What do you think?

Analysts have decreased their price forecasts for EUAs under the EU ETS for 2010, but they see prices rising in subsequent years due to regulation and an improving economy, Reuters reports. Nevertheless, Deutsche Bank expects significant higher prices by the end of 2010 (more details)

What will the EUA price be at the end of 2010?

Analysts have increased their price forecasts for EUAs under the EU ETS for 2010 and beyond. They expect a tighter cap on emissions from 2012 and higher emissions from companies as they recover from recession (from Reuters news)
